Would anyone happen to know how to get a background image on a GUI window aside from the SCMovieView method, or how to get new widgets to appear on top of the SCMovieView???

To get things on top of SCMovieView, make another window that is transparent, then place objects into it (that aren't transparent). I have done this before, but can't find the code at the moment. If you can't figure it out, let me know and I'll try it again.

Also, the Image Quark may be a useful approach as well!

Hope that helps,

josh
